Kitchen Remodeling – Day 10 of 17 – Drywall Work, Tile Grouting, Base Cabinets Installation

Kitchen Remodeling – Day 10 of 17 – Drywall Work, Tile Grouting, Base Cabinets Installation
Day ten starts with some drywall work – adding sheetrock and mudding around a new passage we opened up between the dining room and kitchen, and then moving on to mudding the new soffit box. Neil grouts the second half of the kitchen floor that was tiled the day before. Next we continue on with installation of more IKEA Sektion base cabinets; the stove top cabinet, and cabinets at the end of the peninsula and back around the other side. I get some more electric work done for the cabinet peninsula, then do some anchoring of the peninsula down into the slab foundation below. By the end of the day we have all the base cabinets installed.
