Kitchen Remodeling – Day 13 of 17 – Trim Work, Water Line, Granite Counter Tile Layout
Day thirteen starts with painting and touch-up work for previous days drywall. Next, Neil starts on layout for our granite tile countertop. We used 12″ granite tiles from MSI Stone, in a color called Blue Pearl. I work on trimming out the new passageway we opened up between the kitchen and dining room, and run a 1/4 inch water line from the reverse osmosis system to the refrigerator. Next I install new base trim around the kitchen. Neil works on custom bullnosing granite tiles for the sink surround, using a grinder and several grinding and polishing pads.
