Kitchen Remodeling – Day 15 of 17 – Toilet Install, Trim Work, Backsplash Installation, Counter Edge

Kitchen Remodeling – Day 15 of 17 – Toilet Install, Trim Work, Backsplash Installation, Counter Edge
Day fifteen starts out with bringing the refrigerator back in and installing the toilet back in the powder room attached to the kitchen. Next I work on trim work around the new passageway between the kitchen and dining room. Neil gets started on installing the backsplash. We used a 12 inch backsplash mosaic from Jeffrey Court, called Walnut Foil Emperador Pencil. It is a mosaic of glass and marble that looks good with the IKEA Sektion Edserum Wood Effect Brown cabinets. Neil installs some final granite counter tiles, and custom cut edge rails.
