Kitchen Remodeling – Day 16 of 17 – Sink Faucet, Range Hood, Appliances, Granite Window Trim

Kitchen Remodeling – Day 16 of 17 – Sink Faucet, Range Hood, Appliances, Granite Window Trim
Day sixteen starts with Neil drilling holes through the granite tiles and plywood for the Sink Faucet, Reverse Osmosis Faucet, and a new Soap Dispenser. Next he finishes up the backsplash mosaic tiles. I work on installing new GFCI switches and outlets that are a brown color that better matches the backsplash. Next we install the island range hood and get the electric hooked up for it. I got the range hood from Signature Hardware – the 36inch Artisan Series range hood. We finish up the day getting the range cooktop hooked up to electric and gas, and Ernie works on making final plumbing connections for dishwasher, faucets, and sink drain line. The cooktop is a Maytag MCG9536DS 36 inch stainless steel model. Neil finishes up the day with grouting the backsplash and counter top tiles.
