Kitchen Remodeling – Day 6 of 17 – Drywall Sanding, Taping, Mudding
Day six starts with some extra demolition work. Neil removes some backsplash tile around the window sil. After returning from Lowes, I use a vacuum drywall sander to do some drywall sanding, then I move on to installing new sheetrock and insulation for the kitchen walls.
Tools used: Shop-Vac Hand Sander Vacuum Attachment (from Lowes), Ridgid Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum, 3M Respirator, IRWIN Tools VISE-GRIP Multi Tool Electric Stripper, Cutter and Crimper, Dewalt 20V Cordless Drill and Impact Driver, Bosch Oscillating Tool, Werner 6ft and 8ft Aluminum Ladders
Materials Used: Westpac Materials All Purpose Joint Compound, FibaTape Drywall Joint Tape, Owens Corning Fiberglass Insulation
